Jake Finch asked us to sign up to walk or donate for the upcoming Relay for Life, which will be held this year on October 21/22 at the Simi Valley Town Center. Sign up sheets are on the tables now and pancakes will be served!
2018 Cajun Security Meeting
Jim Tokatlian said there will be a meeting for those that want to volunteer for the 2018 Cajun Security committee. They will be looking for Team Leaders to help secure the various areas at the festival. The meeting will be held at the Simi Valley Police Department in the EDC Room on Wednesday, october 18 at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Jim for more information - (805)551-2460 or nustarglass@att.net.

We had the pleasure of hearing from two very special Simi Valley Police Department SWAT members -- Commander Bob Brill and Senior Officer Kyle Crocker.
They shared information on their 20 member team including the qualifications, requirements and training that goes into becoming a SWAT team member.
