PROGRAM
Free Clinic
Fred Bauermeister
We had the pleasure of hearing from the Free Clinic's Executive Director, for more than 46 years, Fred Bauermeister!
He shared photos from their history, which began in 1971, and had members read letters of thanks from their clients. He talked about his passion for their mentoring program and introduced Melissa Gonzales, the daughter of his office manager, who has volunteered for many years and is now attending Georgetown University to study psychology and medicine.
The Free Clinic has four service areas: Medical, Legal, Individual/Family Counseling, and Dental.
He talked about their upcoming fundraiser on October 14th - the Fairy Tooth Run.
The framed tree represents the thumbprints of those that have volunteered and donated to the Free Clinic over the years.
