Doug Feco talked about how women have influenced our history. He also highlighted the fact that Rotary International didn't accept women until 1989. He then took the time to bring up and discuss the women in our club who have been our past presidents - and acknowledged those that were at our meeting this morning - BJ Anderson, Michelle Foster, Maggie Kestly and Savi Bhim.

Lisa Brough talked about the Rotary Foundation and the work it does not only internationally but also locally. She said members can always make a donation to the Annual Fund by bringing her a check and when you do you'll be helping to fund local programs into the future!
John Tolson talked about the upcoming Bolio on March 25 at Harley Bowl - goal is to raise money for polio and the Special Olympics. Form your teams! See flyer below for more information.

Blood Drive Planned for April
Jim Robinson announced we will have a blood drive on April 19th - sign up sheets are on the tables now!
FAYM Needs Volunteers and Sponsors
Jeff Faulwell said they are in need of security guards for the upcoming FAYM concert on March 24th. Volunteers are needed for 10:00-2:00 pm or 2:00-6:00 pm shifts on both days. Leigh Seaton reminded everyone that we will be installing Fire Alarms Friendly Village Mobile Home Park on Saturday, April 21 - 9 am - Noon. Sign up sheets are on the tables now and the flyer is below with more information.

George Poulakos, from the Rotary Club of Ventura, shared a video and information about a grant that they have been involved with in Kazungala, India. It is a grant that helps young girls get trained in three areas: sewing, computers and catering through the Lushomo Trust - Grace Centre.
