Bob Bibb received his first Paul Harris Fellow from Arun Sharma. Arun received his 9th Paul Harris Fellow. Bob Bibb then donated money for a new Paul Harris for a member next year who has never received one.
Laura Jen Kin Berger and Chris Soulakhian received their Blue Badges this morning!
We had the pleasure of thanking our Grand Vista staff Mike Contreras, Sergio Escalanate, Justin Gibson, Juan Moreno, Angel Sanchez, and Rachael Spry.
Jim Lowry said that we have received 60 banner purchases due to a discount program this past fall. Renewals are currently $110 and new are $175.

Dr. Wend Schaefer
We had the pleasure of hearing from orthopedic surgeon Dr. Wend Shaefer about his work in a Tanzanian rural hospital. Tom Marsh, our former member and a nurse, has worked with him in the past.
He talked about the grants that they have received from Rotary and the different deformities that have been corrected with these monies.
He also talked about the goals of the hospital and shared photos from a water project that was recently completed to collect rain water.
