Royal Culinary Arts Students
Visit Cheesecake Factory
Stephanie Shannon arranged for Royal High's culinary students to visit the corporate offices of the Cheesecake Factory. The exceptional day included cooking tips and learning about research and development. The students enjoyed learning about that businesses and what it all entails.
President Deb talked about the possibility of donating our unused food charge to the employees at the Grand Vista Hotel who are no long working. This amounts to $48/month and in March it would be $24 for each member to donate back. If you would NOT like to donate your unused food charge but would like a credit instead, please let John Tolson know by emailing him: John@simichamber.org.
Yujin is going home!

Helping Our Seniors
Jim Visage reached out to find out how our club can help people in our community. After speaking with Senior Concerns, he feels we can be helpful to them as they serve the needs of seniors. They need people to pick up medication and run errands for seniors and they are in need of food and paper goods and will hopefully be pairing up a senior with a volunteer in the future.
Lunches for Seniors
Leigh Seaton talked about how our senior center is serving lunch to 60 and over individuals Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Lunches for School Children
Jake Finch talked about how the Simi Valley Unified School is serving lunch for students at three locations from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Berylwood Elementary, Parkwood Elementary (starting Monday) and Santa Susana High School.
Blood Drive at Latter Day
We are in need of blood and there will be a blood drive on Tuesday, April 14 at the LDS Church on Sinaloa from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
