We had the pleasure of hearing the sounds of a wonderful bagpipe player this morning!
President Mike McCaffrey talked about his trip to Washington D.C. on how on the Points of Light mile-long pathway across the street from the White House are the names of individuals that have made a difference in our country. Paul Harris was one of them!
Dan Jaeger was our monthly Rat Fink this morning. He shared information about members that were featured in this week's Acorn, St. Patrick Day jokes, and a poem about friendship.
Camp Rotary Clean-Up Saturday
Leigh Seaton announced a Camp Rotary work day this Saturday, March 16 at 8:00 a.m. If you come please bring gloves and rakes and muscles too! (Also if you have a 12 foot ladder please contact Leigh about bringing it tweezz@att.net.
Sell Cajun Banners in our Community!
Karen Thompson reminded everyone that forms are on our tables to renew our banners and that the banner brochure is available for everyone to take out into our community to solicit new banners!
Cajun Need Beer Managers
Jarrod DeGonia and Jesus Torres, our Beer Guru's for our Cajun Festival this year, are in need of Beer managers. If you want to control people and be in charge, please think about signing up!
FAYM - March 23 & Drivers Need for Cajun Festival
Lori Cromley talked about the upcoming FAYM - a festival put on by the Interact Club at Santa Susana High School. The festival is Saturday, March 23 at the Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, from 1 - 6 p.m.
She said they are also looking for people to be drivers for the Cajun Festival. To shuttle people the day of and to help pick up entertainers at the airport. Please reach out to her if you can help - lcromley22@gmail.com.
Bolio Planned for Sunday, April 14
Bill Klepper announced that this year's Bolio will be Sunday, April 14. Registration is at 10 am and bowling begins at 11 am.
Cajun Meeting Was Great!
Stella Ortiz announced that the first ALL-HANDS Cajun meeting this week went really well. She is encouraging chairs of each area to send weekly reports .
