Bill reminded us to wear our Rotary pins proudly. One of our guests this week, Linda Archie, sat next to Bill on a flight last week. They talked about Rotary and she was intrigued enough to attend our meeting this morning.
Breakfast consisted of chicken waffles served on real plates!! Thank you Tony and Evelyn for getting up early and making our breakfasts.
Nick Frankle came by this morning to thank Simi Sunrise for our support of a global grant to Santa Margarita Island which will provide urgently required medical equipment to this community off the coast of Venezuela.
He also invited us to participate in their GOTTA GET AWAY GIVEAWAY fundraiser. Raffle tickets can be purchased at http://www.getaway-raffle.com. Winner goes to Maui for 7 nights!
Kathy Scroggin told us that we will not be meeting next week and that we will have our next meeting on July 8th at the Junkyard. We will hold the remainder of our July meetings there as well.
There will be a virtual board meeting on July 1st. An invitation will be made available to all club members to attend if they wish.

She distributed new business cards which have a QRC code to the Team Ginny web page.
Dan Jaeger took care of some club business. First the club voted to dissolve the RMCP committee as it had become unnecessary. Second, after some discussion, the club voted a proposal to form a Risk Management Committee (RMC).
Today we heard from Jim Naylor who is the owner/operator of the Ventura Raceway. Jim has had a lifelong association with racing from the time he was 5 years old and he bought the Raceway in 1978.
He conveyed that the Ventura Fairgrounds are in a bad financial situation and that any help was greatly appreciated. It is a beautiful property and location.
We are meeting at the Junkyard In Person on July 8th!
