Shoe Drive is Over...Thanks to Everyone!
Meg Bemis thanked everyone that participated in the shoe drive over the past few months. We collected 79 bags filled with 1977 pairs of shoes!
Offsite Meeting Mixer - January 30, 2020 at The Junkyard
President Deb said that we will not be meeting in the morning of Thursday, January 30 but will meet at The Junkyard for a mixer from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Sign up sheets are now on the tables. Bring a guest for $10 - appetizers, soda and water will be served!

We had the pleasure of hearing from Norman Albances and Rebecca Evans from the Workforce Development Board.(WDB) The Ventura County Board of Supervisors appoints members to the WDB for three-year terms. The majority of WDB members are from the business sector in Ventura County. They are responsible for bringing people and other organizations together to help businesses find employees and assist job seekers in finding jobs.
