Help at Theone Geres' House
Jocko Arledge reminded everyone about the clean-up and planting day at Theone Geres's house this Saturday, June 22 at 8 am. The address is: 2063 Sheridan Court. All supplies will be provided along with good food!
Meeting Updates
Deb Davila reminded us that we are dark July 4 and that our first meeting of the new year will be July 11 and the Board meeting will be on July 18.
STAR Meetings
STAR - Special Training for Action in Rotary - a program we used to have in our club, will begin again under the guidance of Maggie Kestly. This program is for members who have been in our club less than 2 years and will meet every month on the board meeting days.

We had the pleasure of hearing from Chad Cook this morning who shared his experience when he was deployed during Hurricane Maria, to the devastated Dominica, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico in September 2017
He said that after seeing the devastation that it is truly important to have a plan for disasters and to be prepared. He shared the following things that people should do:
1. Plan for Communications
2. Break down silos and work together
3. Have a plan
4. Prepare
5. Share what's happening with others
