President Deb Davila talked about how May is Youth Service Month. She recognized both Rob Hitchcock and Louis Kruglov as the chairs of our Youth Service program and how much time and effort they put in to make our Interact program a success. She also thanked Mary Paseta for her involvement and coordination of our Student Exchange program as well as Herschel and Laura Berger, Giovanny Ragsdale and Leigh Seaton for stepping up and hosting and helping.

Bill Klepper, along with Ryan Valencia, have been working hard at planning this fun night for July 3rd. Fernando Estevez was able to secure a grant for $2500 from Union Bank to support this project! Ryan Valencia will be meeting with the District Manager of the park district to finalize details and location.

Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors Update
Kathryn Scroggin said that we received between 34 applications. She thanked those that donated money last week - we received an additional $1200.
She divided her committee into two groups to review the applications and has asked that everyone return it by Monday and then they will meet to decide the amounts to award.
She is planning to present the awards via a Zoom presentation on May 28.
Free Clinic Set to Open Soon
Leigh Seaton shared information about the Free Clinic and how many of our own members have volunteered to get it up and running. The Dental Clinic will hopefully open soon.
