PROGRAM
Chief Chad Cook
Ventura County Fire Dept.
Our wonderful speaker, Chad Cook, took the time to talk to us about how to make decisions and developing a process. He said the OODA-LOOP process - Observe, Orient, Decide, Act - is a good one to use. He shared stories from his firefighting experiences and encouraged us to possibly get a safe to put items in so if there is ever a need to evacuate you'll be ready to go. He also shared information about the emergency services and fire departments and how they are all under one roof and work together during emergencies.
