Why I'm in Rotary:
I've had many Rotary moments. Best - visiting Beatrice, a single senior and helping her de-clutter her home over 2 years. She became family and I was able to reassure her when she was hospitalized. Celebrated her 90th birthday in the hospital.

What people should know about me:
I was born and raised on a farm in Western Canada. Milked cows and fed chickens, pigs, horses and geese.  Attended a one room school

Strange, but true:
I sang in a gospel quartet in college and traveled quite a bit with the group.

Passions, hobbies, interests:
I am a sports fan - I love cycling and have been doing it for 20 years. I love nature, country, the out of doors and photography.

What I'm really good at:
I played a lot of hockey and I enjoy public communication.

One goal I’d like to accomplish during my lifetime:
Be alive for the whole day tomorrow and squeeze as much living as possible out of every moment.

Favorite place to vacation/visit:
Alberta - Banff & Jasper National Parks

On my bucket list:
Enjoying every waking moment of living...whatever it is.

Most embarrassing moment:
Spent an hour at a large church one weekend before I realized that not only was my zipper down, but my shirt was sticking out.
