We had the pleasure and honor of recognizing Thomas Herdering for his wonderful offer to supply a kidney for Jill Abele.
President Deb talked about how we will continue to meet and monitor the Corona virus for now. She also talked about the loss of Simi Valley resident and US Marine Gunnery Sgt. Diego D. Pongo, who was recently killed in the Makhmur Mountains of northern Irag. We had a moment of silence in his honor.

Bill Klepper talked about the Happy Face clean up day last weekend and shared photos.
Leigh Seaton and Tim Gray shared information about an awards ceremony they recently went to honoring Boy Scout Troop 662 and their 50 years in existence.
President Deb talked about our recently held Group 5 meeting at Wood Ranch Golf Club. During the evening the old Welcome to Simi Rotary sign was auctioned off to Bill Klepper. Below are some photos from that night.
A Paul Harris Fellow was given out this morning to Ranji Sharma and Bill Fox for their help in feeding the homeless each month.

Bill Klepper announced the movie premiere has been moved to the end of November due to the Corona virus

Kathy Scroggin announced that the organization Food Forward, who came to speak with us a few weeks ago, will be having their Harvest Party to pick citrus in Santa Rosa. They would love us to volunteer - Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 am-11:00 am. More information will be coming soon!
