Shine a Light on You Award
Jake Finch received this award from Doug for all her work on the Relay for Life. She thanked everyone who came our to support the event and made a donation.

Carolyn Boucher said we need people to drop of snacks -- bars, fruit, etc -- for YES! Either bring it with you or drop it off at Platinum Sports today and tomorrow!
Camp Rotary Clean Up - Friday, November 3
Steve Johnson said that we will be having a Camp Rotary cleanup the day before the YES! event - tomorrow Friday, November 3,from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Bring gloves, cordless weed wacker, brooms, and hammers.
Thanksgiving Dinner at Senior Center
Bill Klepper announced that Stater Bros. donated $3500 towards our Thanksgiving Dinner planned for Wednesday, November 22.
Food Drive this Saturday
Demi Fox announced that she will be having a food drive this Saturday, November 4 at Coyote Hills Park, 275 Valley Gate Rd.

We had the pleasure of learning about the history of Strathearn Historical Park, including the various buildings that were here or moved to this location over the years. We also learned about the history of Simi, including the very beginning with the Chumash then to the pioneers all the way to today!
