This is President Mike McCaffrey's last meeting and he talked about how proud he was of all our events and activities this past year. He said that what we accomplished this past year truly shows how the "power of the club" can make a difference in our community and in the world!

Family of Rotary Kayak Trip - July 27
Dr. P. talked about the upcoming Kayak event and BBQ on Saturday, July 27.. I will be held in Santa Barbara and you don't need to kayak -- you can come and enjoy the day! Details to follow.

We had the pleasure of hearing from Jimmy Weldon this morning. Not only did he lead us in the flag salute by first reciting the Old Glory poem, but then he shared information on the formation of the Declaration of Independence. He provided details that many of us didn't know about and he delivered it with such emotion and understanding.
