(**We will be DARK on April 25th.)
Lisa Brough, our Foundation Chair, talked about a wonderful project in Zambia at the Grace Center.  This project will fund 250 girls so that they can learn a career in tailoring, computers and food preparation.  She was looking to raise $4,000 and asked four members to participate in a 50/50 Paul Harris Fellow where they would donated $500 and the club would match $500.  Nancy Hawthorne, Jim Lowry, Don Schadt and Stephanie Shannon all stepped up to participate!
Dorina Timbol, Gregg and Sharon Hartman and two RYLA participants Caden Kolarek and Emerald Coulth shared their experiences.
Highlights of Today's Meeting
Cajun Updates
Stella Ortiz talked about how we have sold more tickets now than we did in the past.  She said we need to think about asking for volunteers outside of our club.
Deb Davila announced new sponsors and said to date we have $82,000 in cash sponsorships.  Our goal is to reach $100,000.  Please think about who else could be a sponsor for our festival!

Simi Valley Rocks for Cajun
Sophie Klepper invited everyone to join Simi Valley Rocks! on Facebook!  In a few weeks when she bring the rocks everyone will be able to take one or two home with them to hide somewhere in the community. You can take a picture and post hints on where to find it. She promises that it is fun and you will all love seeing all the amazing artwork that our community is making.

She would like to invite everyone to the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation 2019 Spotlight awards. It will be a fun night to celebrate our award recipients (Pegasus Transit being one of them). There will be a silent auction and dinner. See flyer below for more details.
