President Bill opened up the meeting by presenting Steve Munday with his Rotary pin.  Congratulations Steve!

President Bill continued by letting us know that the previous Drive-In movie night fund raiser was such a success (having raised $6500 for the Club), we will be having another one August 29 and the movie will be Raiders of the Lost Ark.  It will be held at the same location at Rancho Santa Susana Park and will also include a Costume Contest.  Sponsorships are available.  More details to follow.

Larry Borovay added that Ed Asner was very impressed with the event noting that $600 was raised for Ed's foundation.

President Bill ended by saying that, while July has no Rotary theme, he encouraged us all to think of new ways of helping others and increasing our Avenues of Service and to rise to the occasion.  We're a GREAT CLUB!!!!

New Member Proposal:
Think about who would make a good member!
=====================
Our Guest Speaker this week was Tony from the Junkyard.

Tony started by giving us a little bit of his background.  Tony is the son of an Italian chef.  In fact, his father was the founder of Ameci Pizza and Tony was personally involved with opening 41 of the 52 restaurants in the chain.  He then was trained in Italy as a chef before opening the Junkyard with Evelyn 13 years ago.  They currently have over 50 employees and are extremely grateful to the community for all of the support they have received over the years.  He said that if we came way with anything from the presentation, it would be that, in regard to his pizza, its all in the dough baby!
