Lisa Brough, Foundation Chair, held the Paul Harris $30/quarter drawing this morning. Last month Deb Davila's name was chosen and this morning she received her 6th Paul Harris Fellow. This morning Jocko Arledge and Leigh Seaton's names were chosen!

Stella Ortiz reminded us of the first ALL HANDS Cajun Festival meeting planned for March 12th at 6:00 p.m. at Monte Vista.

Rotary Information TONIGHT
Deb Davila said there will be a Rotary Information night for our two potential new members Josh Alexander and Matt Rowe. It will be at BJ Anderson's house at 6:00 p.m. - 4265 Avenida Simi. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Check Out FAYM - March 23rd
Lori Cromley talked about the upcoming FAYM - a festival put on by the Interact Club at Santa Susana High School. They aren't looking for volunteers just people to come out and enjoy the day with great entertainment and booths and more! The festival is Saturday, March 23 atthe Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, from 1 - 6 p.m.
Moorpark Rotary Club's Scholarship of Valor
Jim Railin from the Rotary Club of Moorpark talked about a new scholarship that was created to honor Sheriff Ron Helus, who was killed during the Borderline attack. The program will award one student who is interested in law enforcement a scholarship each year. It is call the Ron Helus Scholarship of Valor. Kiwanis Roundup Needs Volunteers
The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley is looking for Volunteers for Round Up Country Music Festival, being held Saturday March 30, 2019 at the Humming Bird Nest.
Duties will include roaming the Event, looking for potential safety issues with Guests, Guests Violating our basic rules, ensuring all Guests Drinking Alcohol have a proper Wrist Band, and may be asked to check bags upon entry to the Venue.
They ask that each volunteer provide 4 hours of their time, and in turn they will provide Lunch, and of course enjoy the music happening throughout the day.

We had the pleasure of hearing from Taylor Golden about a program she is passionately involved with, Ventura County Caregivers. She shared ways for us to be involved with the organization and why there is a need for volunteers to help with the elderly.
