President Bill thanked the club, Ryan Valencia and Larry Borovay for a successful Drive-In movie fundraiser last Friday evening.
He also encouraged us to wear our Rotary pins proudly at all times to promote our club and Rotary.

Next week's meeting will be held at the Junkyard.  Tony will conduct a cooking demonstration / lesson.
======================
Ryan Valencia thanked everyone for a job well done.  Great weather!  Good crowd!  Stay tuned, we may do it again.

Rotary Family News!

Nothing new to share this week.

Larry also thanked everyone for their contributions to make the Drive-In a success.  He sold off signed posters and books with some proceeds going to the club and some going to the Ed Asner Family Center.

Camp Rotary Projects
Leigh Seaton reminded us about our upcoming Community Service Project.  On Saturday, July 11 he’s looking for volunteers to help clean up Camp Rotary.  This will involve weeding and general clean up.  Leigh anticipates this will take about 2 hours.
Bring a weed whacker and rake if you have one.
Savi Bhim presented Kailey Wagner with her second Paul Harris Fellow in recognition for her work as the club's foundation chair last year as well as coordinating Savi's many District Governor visits last year.
Way to go, Kailey!  Congratulations.
Steve Munday, one of our newest members, was elected to serve a one year term as the Club Representative to the board of the Simi Sunrise Rotary Charitable Foundation.

Demotion is Planned
Note Time Change!
Reminder that everyone should have received an email about Deb's demotion.  Please open it and RSVP today!

While it won't include all the usually stuff, we will be able to celebrate Deb's year and she will be able to thank everyone for their support.

Save the date now: Saturday, August 8 at Kim Schulte's house at 12100 Browns Canyon, Chatsworth from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m with cocktails from 6-7.  It'll include some great food and social distancing too!
