President Deb Davila talked about this month's theme - Vocational Service. She said many of us join Rotary to benefit our vocation and to show other people that we are serious professionals who also hold firm to values even more robust than what our profession requires.
She also highlighted Rotary's commitment to vocational service and our time-honored values we instill in all business relationships, and the need to balance the demands of Rotary with professional and family commitments.
She is encouraging us all to look for new members and explain that we are not asking them to give up their time but to be rewarded with new and inspiring experiences. By doing this we will help grow Rotary and make it stronger and more diverse.
For the month of January, President Deb will be interviewing members so we can learn more about their vocations and how Rotary has impacted them and how they have used their profession in Rotary.
Carolyn Boucher talked about her business Elements Massage.
Dan Gesell talked about his business Professional Planning.
Bill Klepper talked about his business RNC Capital Management. (Although no one is really certain what Bill does!)

Our speaker this morning Chas Wilson was sick so we didn't get to enjoy his program. But did have the opportunity to spend time with the people at our table learning new things about them and their jobs. President Deb then went around to each table to ask for the highlights of what we learned! It was a fun morning of insight!
