President Deb Davila talked about Memorial Day and how usually this week we would be busy working and running our festival. She shared the photo below highlighting the garden that George Kerr created each year to honor our veterans. She said that next year plans are being made for an event.
She also shared a wonderful video highlighting Memorial Day and all who sacrificed for our freedom.

Bill Klepper, along with Ryan Valencia and Larry Borovay, have been working hard at planning this fun night for July 3rd. The park district has agreed to waive their fee for at least the first two shows. Larry is working on getting a celebrity at the event to introduce the movie! More details coming soon!

Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors Update
Kathryn Scroggin said that we will be presenting 25 scholarships this year and thanked her committee for all their hard work.
She is planning to present the awards via a Zoom presentation on May 28.
Senior Concerns Food Donations
Jim Visage thanked everyone who has donated and shopping for Senior Concerns. He is still hoping to reach his 3000 lb food donation goal by the end of the month.

Larry Borovay talked about how he and John Bagnall have been working with the Rotary District 5240 to gather resumes and help find employment. If you know someone in need of a job, or you have a job opening, please contact them.
Camp Rotary Cleanup Planned for May 30
Leigh Seaton announced that there will be a Corriganville cleanup morning on Saturday, May 30 at 8:00 am.
