Savi Bhim is our District 5240 2019-2020 District Governor. She talked about what she's been doing this past year, travelling to South Korea, Mexico and Germany, and how she is looking forward to our club supporting her this coming year.
Bill Fox shared an experience he had with one of our recent high school scholarship recipients. The recipient and her mom came up to Bill to thank him profusely for the scholarship they received to study interior design. He said it felt so wonderful to see the positive impact we make on the students that receive these scholarships every year.
Bill Klepper was a our once-a-month Rat Fink and talked about how we "bring smiles" to everyone at our Cajun Festival. He then tried to share a video of members, entertainers and festival goers all smiling!

Cajun Debriefing Meeting Next Week
Stella Ortiz reminded everyone about the Cajun Debriefing meeting that will be held next Wednesday, June 19 at 6 pm at Monte Vista. Also if you incurred an expense during the festival all receipts must be turned it my June 15th.
Help at Theone Geres' House
Leigh Seaton, George Kerr, and Jocko Arledge are organizing a clean-up and planting day at Theone Geres's house on Saturday, June 22 at 8 am. The address is: 2063 Sheridan Court. All supplies will be provided along with good food!
Host Families Needed
Host families are needed for two exchange students. Please reach out to Mary Paseta NOW if you can help or know someone that can. She brought along a current exchange student and a woman who hosted this past year.
ClubRunner on Your Phone
Chas Wilson talked about how you need to download the ClubRunner app onto you phone so you can always have access to member information!
Demotion is Saturday, June 15th
Doug Feco reminded everyone that President Mike's demotion is planned for Saturday, June 15.
Donations Wanted for VFW
Toby Baker talked about a project he is spearheading to refresh the VFW on LA Avenue. He shared details and then walked around the room to accept donations.
