Helping Others During the Holidays
Deb Davila talked about a family in need. Amanda is a single mom of 2 teenage boys and they lost everything in the Woolsey Fire as it rushed through the Seminole Springs Mobile Home Park. They have secured an apartment and still need a lot of things. If you can help in any way, let Deb Davila know. (818) 519-1335 or deb.davila59@gmail.com. They need: a couple of dressers, kitchen items, and a computer for Amanda and one of her sons. Since their needs are changing daily, Bed Bath & Beyond or Target gift cards would be great for the household items, and Visa or Apple Store gift cards would be great to go towards their computer needs.
Sophie Klepper is also collecting money for a family whose mom is suffering from incurable brain cancer. Please contact her to see how you can help contact Sophie.Klepper20@gmail.com.
Dorina Timbol has said that Women of Substance & Men of Honor are in need of toothpaste, body wash and candy to fill Christmas bags that they give to the at-risk youth. Time is of the essence. If you have these items please drop them off at Lighthouse Church, 3353 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.
