President Deb shared a beautiful inspirational video titled Power in Our Connection that illustrates how Rotary brings leaders together to build connections and friendships. She said that our connections make powerful things happen. We are people of action. And together we turn great ideas into reality.
She also highlighted that we welcomed seven great new members into Simi Sunrise this year and let's continue to keep our eyes open for potential new members so we can expand our reach even further.
She also let everyone know that they will be receiving a note from the Rotary Foundation for their donation, which came from our breakfast dues.

Jake Finch reported that during the COVID-19 emergency, the Senior Center has seen a significant increase in the number of meals it provides to seniors in the community. The Center has been supported by volunteer drivers over the past few months to deliver the additional meals to meet the need in the community. However, many of these volunteers are now going back to work and will no longer be able to assist.
The Senior Center is seeking 2 – 3 drivers who could start next week for 2 – 3 hours per day. If you have the time and are interested, please contact Angel Sierra, Senior Center Manager, at (805)583-6366 to learn more about volunteering to deliver meals to the seniors in our community. Please share this with your community groups.
