PROGRAM
Flying Tigers
We had the pleasure of hearing from our very own Rob Hitchcock about his dad Jim and his days with the Flying Tigers. He shared the history of the China and Japan conflict and the creation for the American Volunteer Group (AVG) that was created prior to WWII. His dad was sent to China once the war began as part of the elite Hell's Angels Squadron of the Flying tigers and how he also flew the hump of the Himalayas to bring much needed supplies for the Allied troops in central China.
