President Mike McCaffrey talked about how we have this business card you can take and give to someone to come for a FREE breakfast to check out our club. They are on the sign in table. He also shared information about how Rotary helps throughout the country and world through Shelter Box and setting up funds to aid people who have been impact in events, like the fires in our area last year.

Fernando Estevez was our Rat Fink this morning and he provided us with information about what you find in the Dominican Republic if you every visited!
Lee Dominic and Richard Perini shared more details on the upcoming Voo Doo on the Bayou Haunted House planned for October. Volunteers will be need to help build out the venue and to help with makeup and more. He
Blood Drive Planned August 16th
Leigh Seaton reminded everyone about the upcoming blood drive on Thursday, August 16. Sign up sheets are on the tables now.
Halloween Committee Volunteers Needed
Leigh Dominic asked for volunteers to be on this committee. The theme for the Haunted House will be VooDoo on the Bayou. It will run from 7-11 p.m. for two weekends.

Rotary Foundation 50/50 Grant
Lisa Brough and Chas Wilson talked about another opportunity to bring water to Mexico. The club will donate $2000 and Roger Coger and Nancy Hawthorne volunteered to participate in the 50/50 opportunity to receive a Paul Harris Fellow for $500.
